Excellent, friendly service and very good food. My steak and ale pie was very good, and I appreciated the healthy broccolini on the side. My husband really liked his haddock fish and chips, although he thought he had ordered the grilled halibut fish. It would be very helpful if they would put a current menu on their website.

We went here for lunch during a city break to York. Nice location overlooking the river whilst we ate. We had the sharing platter and halloumi fries which was very tasty and more than enough for the pair of us.

A very relaxing place to sit and have a drink. Maggie was very attentive and friendly. Thank you Maggie for making our experience so great!
