One of the best pubs in York. Great beer selection as you would expect from Black Sheep, but also other beers and a really good cider selection which is quite unusual these days and which my wife absolutely loved. It’s become our go to pub when in town. The staff are always friendly, and there is a nice small courtyard out back which was lovely in the summer. Would 100% recommend!

Made a special trip to this pub from leeds as I heard it did flat ciders and glad I made the trip to York to try it as yes they had 11 flat ciders on when I visited. They have free wifi. Deffo returning again next time I’m up that way

We stopped at Three Legged Mare for a quick beer, and honestly, what a find! We came on a Friday and were lucky enough to catch a group of musicians playing, which gave the place such a lively and authentic feel. It’s got so much charm cozy, welcoming, and full of character. If you’re after a true Northern pub experience with great drinks and a brilliant atmosphere, this is the place to be. We absolutely loved it and would definitely recommend stopping by!
